We commissioned emerging playwright Ellen Bradbury to write a new verbatim play on the subject of Burnout. We then held a 5-day Research & Development process in November 2022 with an ensemble of recent graduates.
​
We hope to develop the show further in 2023.

We worked in collaboration with exciting emerging company Moot Point Collective to present Kneecaps, a two-hander play by Joe Hunter.
​
"Ali and Jess have broken up, and are dealing with their own problems.
​
However, when a peculiar and life-threatening epidemic forced them together again for the first time since their split, unresolved issues with religion, identity, morality, addiction and each other are well and truly unearthed.
Kneecaps is a surreal dark comedy that asks the question ‘how do we love ourselves as queer people when the world is designed to encourage the opposite?’"

Scotland's first emerging theatre makers festival, featuring digital shows from exciting new talent, a series of tailored workshops and Q&A's with industry professionals. Across all shows and workshops, 400 tickets were booked for this event.

Supporting artists of marginalised genders to put on 4 15-minute pieces on the theme Louder. Supported with mentorship from Jackie Crichton and Caitlin Skinner these teams of artists presented to nearly 200 people in Traverse 1!

'___after___' a night of Scottish stories by emerging artists was presented digitally on the 15th October 2022. The evening contained 6 monologues inspired by Scottish Stories and storytellers. The pieces were written, performed, directed and produced by emerging Scottish Theatre-Makers.

In December 2021, we presented Scotland's inaugural emerging theatre awards. We partnered with 10 established theatre organisations to offer networking and support to recipients of the awards and hosted a zoom ceremony to celebrate the talent on offer.

A project designed to provide paid work for young, female/non-binary playwrights in Edinburgh. We were delighted to present a series of four short plays on the theme 'Home'. November 12th 2021 at the Scottish Storytelling Centre.

A series of 5 monologues by young, female, Scottish writers about what it means to be a woman in Scotland. Performed by exciting new Scottish talent, directed by the Framework Team and posted free to access online.
This project received over 7000 views on our social media and launched our support strand of work.
